Our client, a growing multi-state property management company, is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Director of Recruiting to lead all talent acquisition efforts across its expanding portfolio.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for developing recruiting strategies, building strong talent pipelines, improving hiring processes, and partnering with leadership to attract top talent across corporate, property management, maintenance, and leadership positions.

The ideal candidate understands that successful recruiting goes far beyond posting jobs—it requires relationship building, creative sourcing, workforce planning, and delivering measurable hiring results.

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Leadership

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for corporate, property management, maintenance, and leadership positions
  • Develop and execute strategic recruiting plans aligned with company growth objectives
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-priority and hard-to-fill positions
  • Develop sourcing strategies across Linked In, Indeed, referrals, social media, networking, industry associations, trade schools, and other recruiting channels
  • Proactively identify and engage passive candidates
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities
  • Improve the overall candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Strengthen the company's employer brand to attract top talent

Recruiting Operations

  • Oversee applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting workflows
  • Monitor recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, quality of hire, and hiring success
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and increase efficiency
  • Manage recruiting vendors, agencies, advertising platforms, and sourcing tools
  • Ensure recruiting activity and reporting are accurate and up to date

Strategic Partnership

  • Collaborate with Operations, HR, Payroll, and executive leadership on workforce planning initiatives
  • Forecast hiring needs to support continued company growth
  • Support succession planning and internal talent development initiatives
  • Analyze turnover trends and recommend recruiting and retention improvements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition
  • 7+ years of recruiting experience preferred
  • 3+ years of leadership or recruiting management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success recruiting for multiple departments and high-volume hiring environments
  • Strong experience sourcing passive candidates and building talent pipelines
  • Proven ability to develop recruiting strategies that produce measurable hiring results
  • Experience tracking recruiting metrics and improving hiring performance
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing recruiting vendors, agencies, and recruiting budgets
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Paylocity experience is a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

What We're Looking For:

  • A strategic recruiting leader—not just a recruiter
  • Someone who can build scalable recruiting systems and processes
  • A proactive professional with strong business acumen
  • A data-driven decision maker who measures success through results
  • A creative recruiter who is constantly developing new sourcing strategies
  • A leader with a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of $100,000–$125,000
  • Health insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • 2 weeks of paid time off (PTO)
  • 6 paid legal holidays
  • 5 work-from-home days per year
  • Opportunity for long-term growth with an expanding organization
