Job Details- Job Type: Full-time, hourly
- Pay: $24.04 per hour (approximately $50,000 annually)
- Typical Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - Work Environment:
Professional office setting; hybrid work-from-home opportunities may be available after successful completion of training - Benefits:

The Human Resources Generalist / Coordinator supports AnCor HR's outsourced human resources consulting services by providing accurate, responsive support to the Director of Human Resources, client organizations, and their employees. This role performs a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll and HRIS management, compliance, recordkeeping, training coordination, and general HR administration while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment.
WhatYou'll Do
- Support recruitment, onboarding, employee communications, and HR documentation for multiple client organizations.
- Manage payroll processing, benefits administration, HRIS updates, records management, and employment compliance activities.
- Provide professional and confidential support for employee relations matters and client requests.
- Coordinate training sessions, meetings, HR projects, and ongoing administrative activities.
- Maintain accurate and organized records while managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and client environments.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and employees through responsive service, clear communication, and dependable follow-through.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of three years of related experience in HR, benefits, payroll, recruiting, employee relations, or office administration.
- Working knowledge of HR practices, employment-related laws, and compliance requirements preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to learn and effectively use payroll systems, HRIS platforms, talent management systems, retirement management systems, and other business applications.
Successful candidates will be organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple clients, systems, and priorities in a dynamic environment. This role requires someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, protects confidential information, and enjoys serving as a trusted HR resource. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and remain responsive and dependable while supporting clients in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.
WorkEnvironment and Schedule
- Work is generally performed in a professional office or home-office environment using standard office equipment.
- Reliable high-speed internet access through a secure network is required.
- Local travel will be required for client visits, meetings, trainings, and related events (mileage reimbursement available).
- Must have a valid driver's license, reliable personal transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance.
- Work hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evenings or weekends based on client or business needs.
