Salary
The salary range for this position is CAD $38.88/Hr.
- CAD $55.89/Hr.
The hours of work, including start and stop times, days off, work area and work site may be subject to change consistent with operations requirements and applicable provisions of the Collective Agreement and statutes.

The Talent Recruitment Advisor:Provides expert advice and guidance to ensure talent acquisition of both unionized and non-unionized roles at Providence Health Care.
Works within a specified portfolio to support hiring leaders with full cycle recruitment including: sourcing, advertising, posting, intakes, prescreening, shortlisting, interviews, reference checks and employment offers.
Develops and implements recruitment strategies.
Works on various recruitment–related programs, campaigns and special projects such as provincial and national career fairs and campus recruitment initiatives.
The Advisor will ensure Equity, Diversity and Inclusion best practice is applied to the strategies and selection processes for all hiring initiatives.
What You Bring EducationPost Secondary Education and/or Training in Human Resources or Recruitment.
ExperienceMinimum three (3) years of experience working as a Talent Acquisition/Recruitment Specialist, in a multi-level, multi-discipline organization working with union and non-union hiring activities. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working in Healthcare or within the Public Sector.
Skills and AbilitiesComprehensive knowledge of BC healthcare job market trends and sourcing candidates in a competitive market place. Comprehensive knowledge of best practices as these relate to recruitment processes in the health care industry.
Ability to work as part of a team as well as the ability to work and think independently.
Demonstrated ability to apply EDI best practice in recruitment initiatives
Effective project management skills.
Strong customer focus and the ability to work with individuals at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to use initiative in problem-solving and arrive at creative solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organization, communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
Flexible attitude, open-minded and the ability to adapt easily to change.
Proficient with office and web-based computer applications such as Access and People Soft.
Ability to operate related equipment.
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

Leads or participates in all stages of external recruitment including sourcing, advertising, posting, intakes, prescreening, short-listing, telephone prescreens, interviews, reference checks, and employment offers.
Researches and drafts job advertisements,working with Communications and Marketing specialists to ensure ads are appropriately designed for targeted markets.
Develops interview questions for all level of positions.
Provides advice to international applicants regarding concerns such as work permits, the Provincial Nominee Program, licensing requirements and relocation matters;
