This full-time opportunity reports to the Manager of Labour Relations and emphasizes proactive strategies in managing employee issues. You will engage in collective bargaining, coach managers on labour relations challenges, and lead investigations into workplace complaints.
Your role is crucial in enhancing leadership capabilities and promoting consistency aligned with the 3-Year Employee Relations Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic labour relations advice and training
• Support management in dispute resolution processes
• Conduct timely investigations into workplace complaints
• Participate in collective bargaining and research settlements
• Recommend best practices in labour relations processes
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in Human Resources or related area
• 3-5 years of experience in unionized labour relations
• Preferred CHRP designation and ADR training
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation
• Proven ability to handle conflicts professionally
