Job Description Summary

The purpose of the Associate Advocacy Center is to have a centralized department where associates are assigned a dedicated advocate to help navigate and resolve a variety of complex issues. The consultant may serve as an advocate for associates and change agent in a variety of different areas – including, but not limited to: associates experiencing on-going unresolved conflict with their managers or co-workers;

associates who need assistance with internal job searches/placements for a variety of reasons (discipline, reassignment, etc.); and associates lacking resources or information necessary to effectively perform their jobs.

Responsibilities And Duties
  • Ability to compassionately connect with associates, understand and articulate the particular issues at hand, and independently and effectively advocate on associate’s behalf through resolution of a variety of complex issues.
  • Perform duties with independent decision-making authority.
  • Formulate strategic and tactical solutions to issues presented.
  • Ability to identify potential legal issues or issues that should be referred to Advice and Counsel Center (ACC) for investigation.
  • Evaluate, partner and elevate matters as appropriate, to different HR COE’s (centers of expertise).
  • Analyze case trends and data to proactively identify training and other continuous improvement opportunities for the department and organization.

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree, preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Field of Study:
    Human Resources or related
  • Years of experience: 3-5 Years HR experience, Customer Service Experience, or related field
  • Specialized Knowledge:
    Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related discipline preferred. At least three years of HR or related experience required. Ability to recognize and serve as an advocate in a variety of areas related to human resources and/or associate relations.
