Internship
Summary:
As a Human Resources Intern, you will gain structured, hands-on exposure to the full employee lifecycle at an employee-owned clean energy engineering firm. Working under the direct supervision of experienced HR staff, you'll support a broad range of HR programs — compliance, payroll and timekeeping support, benefits administration, and employee recordkeeping — while building foundational HR expertise through mentorship, shadowing, and the completion of projects.
This internship is designed as a learning experience. You'll be paired with an HR mentor and participate in regular check-ins and training courses. You'll also represent Revamp's values of Impact, Collaboration, Trust, and Equity to internal stakeholders at every stage of the employee experience.

- Understand how payroll, timekeeping, and benefits administration operate in a multi-state employer.
- Develop professional judgment in handling confidential information under supervision.
Compliance + Reporting

- Track hourly employee timesheets and follow up on missing or incomplete submissions ahead of each payroll cycle to support accurate, on-time processing.
- Review timesheets and expense/reimbursement coding for accuracy, escalating discrepancies to the appropriate manager.
- Assist in managing state registrations and setups as employees relocate or travel, and research and resolve routine state payroll tax notices.
- Verify QLE changes with broker and/or carriers, as necessary
- Support 401(k) eligibility and enrollment fundamentals, and support open enrollment activities including employee system access and insurance card distribution.
- Complete disability and related claim paperwork across applicable state and carrier programs.
- Serve as a resource for routine employee questions, administering Employee Handbook policies and procedures and assisting in resolving day-to-day matters.
- Provide administrative support for professional licensing management.
- Handle sensitive mail—including confidential and immigration-related documents—with strict confidentiality and filing as needed.
- Perform essential duties, including meeting deliverables and deadlines.
