Who you are
As the Service Office People & Culture Manager, you are a trusted business partner and lead by example in ensuring the consistent, efficient and effective delivery of all People & Culture processes and activities.
You strengthen collaboration between the Service Office and all other units by driving the successful implementation of IKEA's People Strategy and fostering an engaging workplace built on IKEA's values and culture.
- Extensive experience as a People & Culture Business Partner, People & Culture Manager or in a comparable management role.
- A passion for people and a proven ability to develop organisations, leaders and teams while creating an engaging co-worker experience.
- The confidence and maturity to influence, coach and challenge leaders and stakeholders, even without direct reporting lines.
- Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate a complex stakeholder landscape and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic people initiatives, ideally within a global matrix organisation.
- A solid understanding of key People & Culture processes, including performance management, talent and succession planning, co-worker relations, and Swiss labour law.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of another Swiss national language is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing collaboration in the office with independent work from home.
- Act as a trusted business partner to leaders across the Service Office, driving business performance through people and taking responsibility for the Service Office staff budget, including effective planning and management.
- Foster an engaging, inclusive and high-performing workplace built on IKEA's values and culture.
- Strengthen collaboration between the Service Office and all other units, building strong partnerships to meet current and future business needs.
- Lead the local implementation of IKEA's People Strategy and translate global priorities into meaningful local actions.
- Drive talent and succession planning by coaching and supporting leaders to identify and develop future talent.
- Secure the competence, leadership capabilities and organisational readiness needed to achieve our business ambitions.
- Ensure People & Culture processes are delivered consistently while continuously enhancing the co-worker experience.
