Human Resources Business Consultant

A leading organisation is seeking an experienced HR Business Consultant to partner with business leaders in delivering strategic human resources solutions that support organisational objectives, workforce development, and employee engagement. This role serves as a trusted advisor, providing end-to-end HR consulting across employee relations, talent management, organisational development, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong strategic partnerships with business leaders to understand organisational goals and provide proactive HR guidance.
• Partner with HR Centres of Excellence to deliver solutions across recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, learning and development, and succession planning.
• Identify business challenges and recommend HR strategies that align workforce initiatives with business objectives.
• Analyse HR and business metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Lead the implementation of HR programmes and initiatives that support business strategy and organisational effectiveness.
• Provide change management expertise and guide leaders through organisational transformation initiatives.
• Deliver end-to-end HR support from needs assessment through implementation and evaluation.
• Develop and execute workforce planning, engagement, retention, and talent development initiatives.
• Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, programmes, and communications across the business.
• Advise leaders on performance management, career development, leadership development, employee engagement, and organisational design.
• Conduct employee relations investigations and provide recommendations for appropriate resolution.
• Monitor compliance with employment legislation and HR policies while keeping stakeholders informed of regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Human Resources, with 8+ years preferred.
• Strong HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience supporting business leaders.
• Broad knowledge across employee relations, compensation, organisational development, learning and development, and talent management.
• Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR compliance.
• Experience managing complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and influence business decisions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience leading organisational change and change management initiatives.
• Experience partnering with multiple business functions within a complex organisation.
• Proven ability to use HR metrics and workforce analytics to influence business strategy.
• Experience supporting leadership development, succession planning, and workforce transformation.
