Employee & Union Relations Manager Hybrid Role

Join Atira Women’s Resource Society as the Manager of Employee and Union Relations in Vancouver. This full-time, hybrid role emphasizes labour relations and inclusive practices.

You will lead the labour relations and employee relations portfolios, reporting to the Executive Director of People & Culture. This role aims to develop strategies for promoting diversity, supporting negotiations, and enhancing workplace culture. Collaborate with people leaders to align practices with Atira’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement employee and union relations strategies

• Provide guidance on collective agreements and legislation

• Support managers in labour-related challenges

• Lead negotiations and grievance resolutions

• Create new policies promoting best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field

• 5-7 years of experience in a unionized HR role

• CPHR certification preferred

• Proficient in HR Information Systems

• Valid criminal record check required
