In this key role, you'll coordinate the disability benefits process, facilitating smooth transitions back to work for affected employees. Your expertise will guide employees through navigating resources and understanding their rights while promoting effective accommodations. You'll work closely with Case Managers to implement tailored return-to-work programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage adjudication of disability benefits for employees
• Guide employees through the return-to-work process
• Collaborate with Case Managers on modified work solutions
• Ensure effective communication about benefits eligibility
• Adhere to healthcare regulations and best practices
Requirements:
• Certification as a Disability Management Professional or working towards
• Experience (1-3 years) in disability management environments
• Knowledge of Ontario Human Rights and Employment Standards
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in diverse, unionized settings
