The Academic Personnel Analyst 3 serves as the lead for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences in all academic personnel matters with a focus on non‑senate academics, including Unit 18 lecturers, represented academic student employees, postdocs, visiting professors, and other non‑senate academic appointees. The analyst is the subject‑matter expert on bargaining contracts and policies for these populations and serves as the primary point of contact and liaison to the departments, college, and campus offices.
The analyst oversees work related to non‑senate populations, ensuring compliance with represented bargaining contracts, policies, and procedures. The analyst develops college policies and procedures, implements them through education and training, and proactively plans for and improves services where needed. The analyst works with the Director and Assistant Directors on labor and employee relations matters, including requests for information, grievances, and implementation of new contracts.
The analyst partners across the college to deliver the highest level of customer service, reflecting the strategic objectives and goals of the college and university. This position is eligible for a hybrid remote work schedule.
