Human Resources Administrator (HRA)
MWH is currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator (HRA) with a focus on construction industry operations to support the Sr. Human Resources Business Partner. The role will involve processing HR data, maintaining and updating employee records, and supporting various administrative HR functions. This position will primarily assist with workforce management, compliance and data entry tasks for our construction and corporate teams.
This position will be based in our corporate office in Broomfield, CO.
Essential functions include:
- Providing administrative support to HR, including HR Business Partners and Generalist colleagues.
- Maintaining working knowledge of HR processes and policies.
- Managing the HR shared inbox and phone line.
- Answering employees' queries to the fullest extent possible, rerouting/escalating complex matters to the appropriate individual when necessary.
- Providing high-quality, timely, and professional customer service.
- Completing HR projects as needed.
- Processing and tracking employee status changes, including new hires, terminations, transfers, and promotions.
- Performing record keeping and helping maintain our HR data systems.
- Working with Payroll as well as other internal business partners.
- Assisting in coordinating onboarding for new hires, including documentation and orientation processes.
- Performing employment verifications promptly.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Hourly non-exempt position
- 100% full time in office position. This role is not hybrid or work-from-home.
- The position reports to Sr. Human Resources Business Partner.
Basic qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Two-year degree in human resources, organizational design, business administration, accounting, or related field or equivalent combination of experience, skills, and training.
- Minimum 2 years of administrative and/or customer service experience in a professional office.
- Working knowledge of general office procedures and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation range: $26.44 - $32.69 per hour, based on experience.
