Overview of the Role
- The Talent Success Generalist delivers day-to-day operations and administrative support across Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Employee Relations, Employee Data/Compliance, Employee Engagement, and Performance Management. This role ensures consistent execution of TS processes, maintains accurate employee records, supports employee inquiries, and partners with TS leadership to maintain compliance and a positive employee experience. The Generalist is the backbone of TS operations and plays a critical role in ensuring foundational excellence.

- Location:
Hybrid Schedule – 3 days in office. Local to one of our offices (Schaumburg, IL, Eden Prairie, MN, or Earth City, MO). - Salary range: $50,000 – $60,000. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
- Post jobs, source candidates, and coordinate interviews.
- Administer offer letters, conduct pre‑employment checks, and new hire onboarding logistics.
- Facilitate policy acknowledgments and compliance onboarding.
- Support ER case intake, documentation, and scheduling.
- Assist with investigations related tasks (note‑taking, file management).
- Provide administrative support in disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and employee documentation.
- Support compliance, audits, workplace standards, and TS policy administration.
- Ensure employee data privacy and proper record management.
- Coordinate performance review cycles and goal‑setting timelines.
- Maintain performance documentation and track PIP progress.
- Provide managers with process‑related guidance and reminders.
- Support ongoing office needs such as supplies, shared spaces, kitchens, meeting rooms, and general upkeep.
- Contribute to employee communications related to office updates, events, milestones, or general need‑to‑know information.
- Support small morale‑boosting moments and initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
- Assist with planning and execution of office and employee engagement activities.
- Provide ad‑hoc administrative and operational support aligned to Talent Success priorities and evolving business needs.
- Assist with cross‑functional TS initiatives, projects, and process improvements as needed.
- Support implementation of new programs, tools, or policies to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
- Detail‑oriented: Ensures accuracy in records, compliance, and data.
- Reliable executor: Delivers consistent day‑to‑day operations.
- Highly organized: Manages competing priorities effectively.
- Discreet & trustworthy: Handles confidential information appropriately.
- Proactive: Anticipates needs and follows up without prompting.
- Collaborative: Works well across TS and business teams.
- Process improvement mindset: Identifies inefficiencies and fixes them.
- Data reporting: Basic analysis of HR data.
- 2+ years HR experience (e.g., generalist or coordinator roles).
- Preferred experience in ADP Workforce Now, Greenhouse and Microsoft Suite.
- Experience supporting multiple HR functions (recruiting, ER, compliance, performance).
- Familiarity with employment law basics.
- Experience in fast‑paced or high‑growth environments.
