Recruiter (Contract)

This contract recruiter role runs for approximately 4–6 weeks and is fully remote. You will support high-volume hiring for light industrial positions while working Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, with occasional flexibility to work later depending on the time zones you are recruiting in. The position focuses on full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing and distribution environments, turning requisitions around quickly and partnering closely with hiring managers and leadership.

• Manage a high-volume requisition load of approximately 20–25 open positions at any given time.
• Recruit for light industrial and related roles, including machine operators, warehouse associates, forklift operators, shipping personnel, customer service representatives, scale operators, and other similar positions.
• Conduct requisition intake meetings with hiring managers to understand role requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring timelines.
• Partner and communicate effectively with leadership and hiring managers to provide updates, manage expectations, and align on recruiting strategies.
• Source qualified candidates using Indeed, Linked In, job boards, and an internal applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Perform full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating the interview process.
• Screen candidates to assess skills, experience, and fit for light industrial roles in manufacturing and distribution settings.
• Schedule candidates for onsite interviews and ensure a smooth handoff to hiring managers and interview teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely data in the ATS and other recruitment tools throughout the hiring process.
• Work efficiently to turn requisitions around quickly and meet hiring targets within agreed timelines.

• Proven experience managing a requisition load of 20 or more openings at one time in a recruiting role.
• Demonstrated success in turning requisitions around quickly and delivering timely hires.
• Hands-on experience recruiting for light industrial roles such as warehouse associates, machine operators, forklift operators, and material handlers.
• Experience in recruiting within manufacturing, distribution, or recruitment agency environments.
• Strong full-cycle recruiting skills, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and coordinating interviews.
• Proficiency using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and job boards for candidate management and sourcing.
• Experience with talent acquisition and recruitment processes in high-volume settings.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with leadership and hiring managers.
• Capability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.

• Experience using platforms such as Indeed and Linked In for proactive candidate sourcing.
• Familiarity with a variety of job boards and online recruitment tools.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple requisitions and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to build rapport with candidates and provide a positive candidate experience.
• Comfort working in fast-paced manufacturing, distribution, or agency recruiting environments.
• Adaptability to different time zones and hiring needs across locations.

This role is 100% remote and requires working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, with some flexibility to work until 6:00 p.m. EST or later depending on the time zones of the roles being recruited. You will primarily use an internal applicant tracking system along with job boards such as Indeed and Linked In to source and manage candidates.

The work is focused on supporting manufacturing and distribution operations, with a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment that values responsiveness, clear communication, and efficient turnaround of requisitions. Dress code is typical of a professional remote office setting, allowing you to work comfortably while maintaining a professional appearance for any video meetings.
