About the Role

Our client, a specialist recruitment consultancy in Durban , is seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Recruiter to focus on sourcing and placing top talent within the IT and engineering sectors. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing qualified candidates for a range of demanding technical roles across the Kwa Zulu-Natal region and beyond. This role requires a keen understanding of technical skill sets, a proactive sourcing approach, and the ability to build robust talent pipelines.

You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their technical requirements and deliver exceptional recruitment solutions, contributing to the company's reputation as a leader in niche recruitment.

• Source and attract qualified candidates for IT and engineering positions using various channels, including online databases, social media, and professional networks.
• Conduct in-depth technical screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Manage the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and feedback.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive and active technical candidates for current and future opportunities.
• Collaborate effectively with clients to understand their technical needs and provide market insights.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends within the IT and engineering industries.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical recruitment , either agency or in-house.
• Proven ability to source and engage candidates for roles requiring specialized technical skills (e.g., software development, data science, network engineering).
• Familiarity with various programming languages, technologies, and IT infrastructure concepts.
• Excellent Boolean search skills and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and candidate management skills.
• A proactive and results-oriented approach with a passion for technology recruitment.
