SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.
Technical Recruiter ResponsibilitiesAs a SpaceX recruiter, you will run a full desk with a variety of duties and responsibilities focused on the sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of top talent candidates to fill mission critical positions. You are the candidate’s first encounter with SpaceX and it is your job to represent the company with professionalism, pride, and enthusiasm. You will work in teams and collaborate while maintaining a high degree of autonomy, taking initiative and driving tasks to completion.
Your day-to-day routine will change often as hiring priorities shift, but there is a basic set of activities you can expect to run with daily, including, but not limited to:

- Screening candidates who apply to requisitions
- Source candidates, often those not actively looking
- Discuss screened candidates with client groups and recommend top picks for interviews
- Giving tours to candidates before onsite interviews
- Attending interviews with client groups to evaluate candidates
- Managing the offer process, including background checks, offer packages, and extending offer letters
Some days you will have multiple candidates coming onsite for interviews; other days you will spend the majority of the day screening and sourcing candidates. The pace moves fast, but ultimately your job is to attract, organize, and manage the flow of the country’s most talented individuals.
