About the Role
Our client, a specialist recruitment consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to focus on the crucial IT and Engineering sectors within Mahikeng, North West. This role requires a deep understanding of the technical landscape, coupled with strong recruitment expertise. You will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and placing highly skilled professionals in areas such as software development, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and IT support.
Building and maintaining robust client relationships and candidate pipelines are key to success. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated consultant to make a significant impact in a high-demand market, supported by a hybrid working arrangement.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for IT and Engineering roles, from client brief to offer acceptance.
- Source and attract qualified candidates using advanced search methodologies, technical job boards, and professional networks.
- Conduct thorough technical and competency-based interviews to assess candidate suitability.
- Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients in the IT and Engineering sectors.
- Provide expert market insights and consultation to clients on talent acquisition strategies.
- Ensure an outstanding candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Minimum of 4 years of successful recruitment experience, with a focus on IT and/or Engineering placements.
- Proven ability to source and recruit for niche technical roles.
- Strong understanding of IT and Engineering terminology, skills, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment CRM tools.
- Ability to balance remote work with in-office collaboration effectively.
