Recruiter / Talent Acquisition
The Recruiter III, is a collaborative team player who works closely with internal and external customers/candidates to recruit top talent for HFT. The Recruiter III, will be responsible for bringing extraordinary talent into the business at every level. The Recruiter will view each opening as an opportunity to enrich HFT by personifying our core values while matching great talent with the right opportunity.
They will contribute to the success of HFT by supplying the business with a diverse and qualified talent pool. As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will be a brand ambassador to both candidates and Harbor Freight Tools associates.
- Manage the full cycle recruiting process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, salary consults/negotiations, and offer administration for prospective candidates in the targeted areas
- Develop and execute staffing plans to ensure both the internal and external pipeline of highly qualified and diverse candidates is maintained
- Leads intake meetings with the Hiring Managers to understand the culture, skills, and team fit desired for each opening
- Actively source candidates leveraging social media platforms, job boards, data mining techniques, job fairs, referrals, networking channels, and creative sourcing techniques
- Maintain relationships with candidates to encourage continued interest in opportunities with the HFT brand
- Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional partners
- Prepare recruiting reports and presentations to show the progress and effectiveness of recruiting initiatives
- Collaborate with all HFT operations on recruiting and hiring-related initiatives
- Collaborate to identify continuous process improvement opportunities in a rapidly growing and changing business environment
- Promote HFT as the employer of choice to all potential candidates by providing information regarding the company culture, benefits, and opportunities

The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,600 – $98,300 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan.
Associates will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
