OVERVIEW
Reporting to Recruiting Manager; responsibilities include performing recruiting functions for Home Office across all professional, technical, and administrative positions for S & B Engineers and Constructors, Ltd. and Associated Companies. Performs a variety of Human Resource functions to execute recruitment as it relates to the daily operation of hiring, training, and retaining S & B personnel. Makes independent judgments concerning interviewing and screening functions and makes the hiring recommendations from the pool of qualified applicants.
Performs thorough background checks of candidates job skills and experience particularly as they relate to representations in the candidate resume. Defines and identifies problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions. Interprets policy issues concerning the company recruiting process.

FUNCTIONS
The role of Home Office Recruiter is to collaborate within a multi-discipline team in an effort to recruit, train and retain qualified professional, technical and administrative employees. As part of this collaborative effort, this role requires the presence of the individual working within a group setting, with regular interaction during meetings and one-on-one, face-to-face discussions with other individuals on the team on a daily basis.
EDUCATIONBachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university is preferred or 5+ years equivalent experience.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEAt least 3 - 5 years of experience in a related recruiting position. Must have exceptional people skills, willingness to assist, and service all internal and external customers. Must possess a high sense of urgency.
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESIncluding but not limited to:
- Recruit qualified personnel.
- Effectively collaborate with HR Team members, hiring managers, and executive management.
- Track resumes for supervisors/department heads.
- Utilize and be knowledgeable of web based social media sites and state of the art networking.
- Attends recruiting events including campus visits, open houses, job/career fairs, etc.
- Identify, attend and network at industry conferences and exhibitions.
- Conduct and implement effective sourcing, research, and recruiting strategies.
- Conduct cold calls, prospect, qualify and close requisitions.
- Utilize communication skills and sourcing techniques to maximize, market, and develop company brand through recruiting, networking and advertising.
- Provide real-time data, goals, metrics, produce ad-hoc reports and monthly recruiting reports as needed by HR, Operations, Department Heads, and Executive Management.
