Job Description And Duties
The Department of Justice (DOJ) has a unique opportunity to lead career development services within the department. The Coaching and Career Development Unit (CCD) is devoted to providing professional coaching and career development guidance to over 5500 employees. The CCD Unit purpose is to build collaborative partnerships that embrace diversity and inclusivity, empowering individuals to recognize their inner strengths. Through a structured approach:

Under The General Direction Of The Supervisor II In The Office Of Human Resources (OHR), Talent Management Section, CCD, The Supervisor I Will
- Be responsible for oversight of the following programs and services:
Career Counseling, Upward Mobility, Job Skill Shadowing, Career Development Workshops, Career Consultation, Mock Interviews, Resume Review, and other various career development resources. - Be a subject matter expert on career development methods and strategies.
- Collaborate with divisions to identify career development opportunities and needs.
- Develop and implement career development strategies to meet the goals of the DOJ Flexible schedules and remote work options available.
This position has been designated as eligible for telework and is currently a remote centered position. The position will however require in-person attendance on a recurring basis. The selected candidate would report to DOJ headquarters in Sacramento when required for job functions, in-person meetings, trainings, etc. Expenses related to travel to the office when required are the responsibility of the employee.
