This full-time Account Manager & HR Services role is a hybrid position based in Newtown, PA, with flexibility for work from home. The individual in this role will manage a portfolio of employer clients, serving as a primary point of contact for benefit plan administration, renewal coordination, and ongoing service requests. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing benefit proposals and renewal presentations, coordinating with insurance carriers and solution partners, tracking plan performance, and ensuring timely resolution of client inquiries.
The role also supports HR consulting activities such as assisting clients with compliance requirements, employee communications, onboarding materials, and benefit education sessions. Additional tasks may include maintaining accurate client records in internal systems, collaborating with internal team members to deliver tailored benefit strategies, and contributing to process improvements that enhance client experience.
- Client relationship and account management skills, including the ability to build trust, manage multiple stakeholders, and provide proactive service to employer clients.
- Benefits and HR consulting skills, such as knowledge of group health and ancillary benefits, basic understanding of HR compliance, and experience supporting employee benefits administration.
- Analytical and organizational skills, including comfort working with plan data, premiums, and enrollment reports, as well as strong attention to detail and time management.
- Communication and presentation skills, including clear written communication, confident verbal interactions with clients and carriers, and the ability to explain benefits in accessible language.
- Technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM or benefits administration platforms, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Relevant experience in employee benefits, insurance, or HR support roles; prior work with small and mid-size employers or insurance carriers is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
