Full-Desk Recruiter – Life Sciences
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote — United States
Salary: $105,000–$120,000, depending on experience, plus commission
About ViltisViltis is a life sciences consulting firm that connects biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic companies with specialized talent across clinical, regulatory, quality, engineering, and scientific disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new business relationships with biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Proactively secure contract and direct-hire job opportunities.
- Partner with clients to understand their technical requirements, hiring objectives, and timelines.
- Source candidates through direct outreach, professional networks, job boards, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Screen and interview candidates to evaluate their qualifications and career goals.
- Present qualified candidates with clear, professional submission summaries.
- Manage the complete recruitment process from initial sourcing through offer negotiation, placement, and onboarding.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients and candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Keep accurate records within the company’s Applicant Tracking System.
- Monitor life sciences hiring trends and competitive market activity.
- Meet established business development, recruiting, and placement goals.
- At least four years of full-desk recruiting experience, preferably within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or the broader life sciences industry.
- Demonstrated success developing new business, securing job orders, and placing candidates.
- Strong understanding of contract staffing and direct-hire recruitment.
- Familiarity with technical roles across clinical, regulatory, quality, engineering, manufacturing, and scientific functions.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, sourcing platforms, and recruiting databases.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships and active searches simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Base salary of $105,000–$120,000, depending on experience
