About the Role:
The Human Resources Generalist supports all daily functions of the Human Resources department and serves as a partner to leaders and employees across the organization. This role assists with talent acquisition, compensation administration, employee relations, benefits, leave management, performance management, compliance, training and development, and other HR initiatives. The Human Resources Generalist helps ensure consistent application of policies and practices while supporting organizational goals, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience/
Education:
- 2 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience supporting compensation, talent acquisition, employee relations, or other HR functional areas
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or willingness to obtain certification within one year of hire
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
Essential Functions:
- Support and administer a wide range of human resources programs and initiatives including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, leave administration, employee relations, performance management, talent development, recognition, compliance, occupational health and safety, and employee engagement.
- Partner with leaders throughout the organization to provide guidance on performance management, policy interpretation, and employee development.
- Support talent acquisition activities including recruitment, job postings, candidate sourcing, hiring processes, and onboarding initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
- Assist with compensation administration, including market pricing, salary analysis, job evaluations, pay recommendations, compensation studies, annual compensation planning, promotional adjustments, and maintaining equitable and competitive pay practices.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and leaders, exercising sound judgment and escalating complex or sensitive matters as appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; monitor regulatory changes; assist with audits, reporting requirements, unemployment claims, workers' compensation matters, retirement plan administration, and other employment-related compliance activities.
- Review, track, and administer required training, continuing education, licensure, certifications, workforce assessments, and compliance-related educational initiatives while supporting organizational learning and development efforts.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret human resources data and metrics related to staffing, compensation, retention, employee engagement, turnover, performance, and workforce trends to support informed business decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
