Recruiter / Talent Acquisition
As a member of Empowered Hospitality’s Talent team, you will support a high volume of management and executive-level searches, using best-in-class recruiting practices and delivering an exceptional candidate experience from start to finish. You’ll work in close partnership with our Client Services team—who lead the client relationship—while you focus on identifying, engaging, and supporting top-tier talent throughout the recruitment process.

Responsibilities
- Execute the full recruiting lifecycle for hourly and key leadership roles
- Screen resumes, conduct initial candidate evaluations, and submit qualified candidates
- Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our Applicant Tracking System
- Attend client meetings to review recruiting progress, take notes, answer questions, and discuss opportunities
- Provide regular candidate status reports and proactively elevate potential concerns
- Create customized job descriptions that reflect each client’s unique needs and culture
- Write compelling job ads tailored to each position and aligned with the client’s brand
- Post jobs on designated platforms within specified budgets and optimize postings for performance
- Facilitate client “open calls” for mass hiring or new location openings
- Draft and present weekly check-in agendas and progress reports for clients
- Build and nurture relationships with candidates, industry professionals, and potential clients to strengthen E|H’s network and brand
- Collaborate on the development and continuous improvement of E|H’s talent acquisition processes, tools, and best practices
- Champion recruitment compliance by ensuring job descriptions, postings, and interview guides are free of bias and discrimination
- Regularly track and report on key recruiting metrics and KPIs
Experience & Education
- 2-10 years’ experience in recruiting, preferably both agency and internal
- 2-10 years’ experience in the hospitality industry
- Prior experience in customer service
- Experience building, leading, and developing high-functioning teams
- Exceptional interviewing skills, business communication skills, and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in a recruiting leadership role, demonstrating strategic thinking executive-level communication, and strong relationship management skills preferred
- Bachelor’s in human resources, business administration, communications, or related field
The specific level for this role (associate, consultant, director) will be determined based on experience, expertise, and desired scope of responsibility. More senior roles will carry increased responsibility to lead others and grow the practice.
