As an HR Solutions Consultant, you will be a key member of the Global Shared Services team supporting North America. In this role, you will partner with the global HR team, our specialist teams, and business leaders to drive the people component of Capital’s business strategy, particularly focusing on medical accommodations requests under ADA (US) and AODA (Canada), Leave of Absence (LOA) administration, resolving questions/issues across several general HR and Benefits domains.  

You will participate in and/or lead projects aimed at expanding centralization or continuous process improvement, leverage technology to improve the associate experience, and discover actionable insights and recommend solutions.

Please note, this role does require you to work in office Monday-Thursday with the flexibility to work from home on Friday.“I am the person Capital Group is looking for.” You can independently oversee a case load of complex medical/religious accommodations and LOA cases for Canada and the US: identifying and prioritizing situations requiring action and managing those cases from start to finish.

You have strong communication skills and can build rapport quickly with a variety of stakeholders and use these skills and other knowledge to proactively educate leaders regarding accommodation/leave laws and benefit programs.

You have demonstrated advanced consulting skills by resolving complex issues and applying knowledge of benefits plans and summary plan descriptions to everyday situations.

You have a broad HR knowledge base and can be the point of contact for accommodations/LOA cases, general benefits, and other HR questions.

You can interpret various HR policies and procedures, offering customized guidance to associates and managers tailored to specific circumstances.

You connect the dots in complex and often ambiguous situations, deriving insights that are critical to advancing organizational goals.
