Job Title: Contract Nurse Recruiter

Pay: $45.00–$47.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM EST; 40 hours per week

Our client is a large, multi-site healthcare organization with operations across the United States and Canada. This opportunity supports a high-volume Talent Acquisition team responsible for recruiting healthcare and community-based professionals across multiple locations.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Contract Nurse Recruiter to join a fast-paced Talent Acquisition environment. This person will focus heavily on high-volume nursing recruitment, including identifying and engaging qualified RNs and LPNs across multiple markets.
The successful candidate will be comfortable managing numerous openings simultaneously, developing strong candidate pipelines, partnering with hiring managers, and using a variety of sourcing strategies to meet staffing needs. Experience with in healthcare, staffing, agency recruiting, or another multi-site environment is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and screen qualified nursing and community-level candidates for multiple locations.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of active and passive candidates.
- Identify talent through job boards, professional networks, schools, community organizations, agencies, and other sourcing channels.
- Conduct initial candidate outreach, qualification, and prescreening.
- Work closely with hiring leaders to understand staffing requirements and deliver qualified talent.
- Support career fairs, hiring events, and other recruiting initiatives as needed.
- Provide recruiting guidance and training related to sourcing, interviewing, applicant tracking, onboarding, and compliance processes.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the ATS.
- Assist with onboarding-related recruiting activities and ensure required processes are followed.
- Keep current with applicable employment regulations and state-specific recruiting requirements.
- Manage multiple priorities and requisitions while maintaining timely communication and follow-up.
- Participate in regional meetings or recruiting events when business needs require.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare, staffing, agency, or multi-site environments.
- Demonstrated success with high-volume recruitment of RNs and LPNs
. - Experience recruiting across multiple states or geographic markets.
- Strong background in candidate sourcing and pipeline development.
- Previous experience providing recruiting or hiring-manager training is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to follow-up.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Professional and polished communication style.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems required.
- Workday experience is highly preferred.
Additional Details:
- Fully remote position; candidates must be able to work Eastern Time hours.
- Overtime is not expected and requires prior management approval.
