Role OverviewThe Regional Recruiter supports undergraduate and graduate recruitment for UNLV, serving as liaison between Admissions, Financial Aid, academic units, and external partners. Responsibilities include in‑person outreach, creating and executing recruitment plans, advising prospective students, developing programs, analyzing recruitment trends, presenting at events, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities- Travel within assigned regions and to additional out‑of‑state markets as needed.
- Visit high‑school campuses, community colleges, and affiliated events.
- Plan, arrange, and implement a personal recruitment schedule.
- Provide advisement to students and families regarding educational opportunities.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate recruitment programs, projects, and events.
- Analyze recruitment and retention trends.
- Deliver presentations at parent nights, community college engagement, and public audiences.
- Create and distribute promotional materials targeted to recruitment populations.
- Review individual application materials and evaluate admission eligibility.
- Resolve application‑related issues and coordinate communications with applicants.
- Maintain accurate records of recruiting activities and contacts.
- Assist with additional student‑service projects and events as requested.
- Work to achieve yearly recruiting goals.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 1–3 years of related professional experience (customer‑service or public‑facing).
- Equivalent experience: four additional years of relevant experience in place of a bachelor’s, or an associate’s degree plus two years of experience.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle and insurance.
