Remote HR Specialist

Our client is seeking a dedicated Remote HR Specialist to join their fully remote workforce, supporting operations nationally. This role is key to delivering comprehensive HR services across the organization, focusing on employee relations, HR policy implementation, and support for HR initiatives. You will leverage technology and effective communication to maintain a strong employee experience and ensure HR compliance, regardless of geographical location.

• Provide expert guidance and support on employee relations matters to employees and managers remotely.
• Ensure consistent application and communication of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
• Support the recruitment and onboarding process for remote hires, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Assist in the administration of compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.
• Manage HR documentation and maintain the accuracy of employee data in the HRIS.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Specialist, with significant experience in a remote or distributed work environment.
• Strong knowledge of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport virtually.
• Proficiency in HRIS and collaboration tools (e.g., video conferencing, project management software).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
