V12 Esports is a competitive esports organisation operating within the Call of Duty:
Mobile competitive scene. We host daily community events, compete in regional scrims and tournaments, and are actively expanding our player rosters and digital community footprint. We are seeking a proactive, networked Community Recruiter & Talent Scout to oversee player scouting, trial coordination, and Discord server growth.
As our Discord Recruiter, you will serve as the bridge between external talent hubs and our internal competitive rosters. Your primary goal is to identify high-performing players, evaluate prospective competitive talent, and guide them through our onboarding and trial process while fostering an active, welcoming Discord environment.
Talent Scouting: Actively identify, reach out to, and recruit competitive Call of Duty:
Mobile players (competitive/scrim level) and active community members across external hubs, tournaments, and gaming networks.
Trial Coordination: Screen incoming applicants, review gameplay credentials/stats, and liaise with team managers to schedule and monitor tryouts.
Onboarding & Retention: Guide newly signed players through Discord onboarding, assign correct roles, and ensure seamless integration into practice schedules.
Community Engagement: Assist in maintaining regular activity within recruitment and lobby channels, answering prospective member queries promptly.
Reporting: Maintain a lightweight record of ongoing trials, outreach efforts, and signed members for monthly review.
RequirementsScene Knowledge: Familiarity with the competitive Call of Duty:
Mobile ecosystem, including standard scrim rules, competitive tiers, and player expectations.
Platform Proficiency: Confident navigating Discord (managing channels, tickets, permissions, and onboarding flows).
Communication: Clear, professional written communication skills; ability to represent the organisation constructively.
Self-Motivation: Ability to work autonomously on flexible hours and hit agreed monthly scouting targets.
Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred QualificationsPrior experience staffing, moderating, or recruiting for an esports clan, gaming community, or Discord server.
Existing contacts or active involvement within grassroots mobile esports communities.
Compensation & BenefitsGuaranteed monthly base contract paid in GBP (£).
