HR Leave Management Representative

Compensation$26-$29 per hour

Qualifications- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, leave administration, disability management, or a related environment, OR a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous experience supporting leave management is preferred
- Working knowledge of FMLA, Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), Workers' Compensation, Military Leave, and Personal Leave is preferred
- Understanding of FMLA regulations and leave administration processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidential employee information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to support employees professionally and effectively
- Ability to prioritize a high volume of work while meeting established deadlines and service expectations
- Comfortable researching issues, resolving routine inquiries, and using independent judgment when appropriate
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Addison Group is hiring an HR Leave Management Representative on behalf of our client for a contract opportunity through January 2027. This position will provide administrative and employee support throughout the leave process, helping employees understand their leave options, required documentation, responsibilities, and next steps. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing phone-based customer service with administrative responsibilities.

About Our ClientOur client is seeking an HR professional who can provide dependable support to employees navigating various types of leave. This role works closely with internal HR and Safety teams as well as external leave and benefits partners to ensure employee cases are handled accurately and within established service expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Support employees throughout the leave process by helping identify applicable leave types, explaining next steps, and providing appropriate documentation
- Maintain accurate employee leave records and update case management systems according to established procedures
- Communicate with employees by phone and email regarding leave status, documentation, deadlines, and required actions
- Coordinate leave-related information with internal HR and Safety teams and external third-party administrators
- Assist with reviewing and responding to incoming inquiries through shared HR and leave-management email inboxes
- Support administrative processes related to Workers' Compensation and other employee leave matters
- Provide coverage for team members when needed to maintain consistent service levels
- Research employee questions and work toward timely resolutions while minimizing unnecessary escalations
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the employee experience
- Handle sensitive employee information with a high degree of confidentiality and accuracy
- Complete additional administrative duties and projects as assigned
- Fully remote opportunity
