The City of Scottsdale is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Management Analyst to support critical human resources operations and strategic initiatives that strengthen our workforce and organizational effectiveness. In this key role, you will provide both day-to-day and strategic support within the Human Resources Department’s Administration Division, serving as a trusted partner tothe Senior Director of Human Resources. Your responsibilities will span complex and essential functions including budget development and monitoring, contract and vendor management, council report and agenda coordination, departmental and workforce reporting, Personnel Board liaison duties, leadership support, and facilities and equipment oversight.
You will also lead high-impact projects that enhance HR operations, elevate service delivery, and strengthen organizational performance.

The anticipated starting salary for this position may be up to the midpoint of the range, depending on experience and internal equity considerations.
The full salary range is listed above, and the midpoint for this role is $ annually.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Public or Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited educational institution, and
- Five years of senior level professional experience.
- Prior knowledge and experience with human resources related programs and services is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and job related experience may substitute for the educational requirements on a year-for-year basis.
- Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during his or her active employment by the City, regardless of whether the employee is approved to remote work.
Other pertinent licenses and/or certifications may be required of some positions depending on department/section assignment.

PLEASE NOTE:Years of experience are calculated based on a full-time schedule of 2,080 hours per year and a part-time schedule of 1,040 hours per year.
