This is a hybrid role in our Chicago office and will require 1 day per week in the office. US work authorization is required.

You'll gain real-world experience across identity management, cloud administration, device compliance, ticket triage, networking, and application support—all within a modern, remote-friendly engineering organization. You'll be trusted to handle tasks that directly affect user productivity while being supported by senior staff who ensure you keep progressing toward more advanced system administration responsibilities.

Your work keeps people productive, connected, and secure. You'll help maintain a reliable IT environment for a distributed engineering team, enabling smoother collaboration, faster onboarding, and stronger operational continuity.

• Handle onboarding and offboarding tasks including accounts, access provisioning, and device readiness.
• Support Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune administration through user changes, license adjustments, and compliance checks.
• Respond to daily tickets, troubleshoot issues, document fixes, and elevate when needed.
• Assist with monitoring networks, servers, and cloud systems, identifying issues early and improving overall stability.
• Provide first-line support for Autodesk applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Track and maintain IT assets and help ensure secure, well-documented IT operations.
• Explore AI-supported tools that could improve IT efficiency, accuracy, or ticket handling workflows.

• 1-3 years of IT support or system administration experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and basic networking.
• Comfortable troubleshooting software, identity, and device-related issues.
• Strong documentation habits, communication skills, and a service-oriented mindset.
• Curiosity, reliability, and a desire to grow your IT career in cloud-first environments.
• Bonus: hands-on experience with Uni Fi, Nagios, or Autodesk product troubleshooting.

• The pay for this position is $95,000 - $105,000
  , and the role is eligible for bonuses. The actual salary offer may be different as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, location, and experience.
• Health insurance with the choice of five plan options. We cover 70-95% of premiums for VIA Techies and 65% of the premiums for dependents (depending on the plan chosen).
