We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services on Amazon Web Services. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cloud architecture, automation, CI/CD pipelines, security best practices, and operational excellence in AWS environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure in AWS.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or CDK.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., AWS Code Pipeline, Git Lab CI, Jenkins).
Manage and optimize cloud networking (VPC, subnets, security groups, routing, NAT, VPN, Direct Connect).
Monitor performance and reliability using Cloud Watch, X-Ray, and other observability tools.
Implement security controls and ensure compliance with industry standards (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, Guard Duty, Config).
Automate operational tasks and improve deployment reliability.
Support migration projects from on-premise environments to AWS.
Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide 24/7 support as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Dev Ops, Development, Security, and Architecture.
Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or relevant field (or equivalent experience).
3–5+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS services in production environments.
Strong knowledge of AWS core services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS/ECS, Cloud Front, API Gateway, Dynamo
DB, SNS/SQS, IAM.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, CDK).
Proficiency with Linux systems administration and scripting (Python, Bash, Power Shell).
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident management best practices.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and security principles.
Preferred QualificationsAWS Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Developer, Sys Ops, or Dev Ops Engineer).
Experience with hybrid cloud environments and migration frameworks.
Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and Git-based workflows.
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Understanding of Fin Ops and cost optimization strategies.
Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, global, and collaborative environment.
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
