Summary: The Zero Trust Cybersecurity Engineer, Expert provides technical and engineering expertise for the Cyber Security Department. Will need to demonstrate expertise on provisioning, supporting, and ongoing maintenance of cybersecurity platforms, applications, and services, specifically a cloud-based Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution. The position is responsible for providing and implementing the technological solutions and configurations that align with the overall enterprise cyber security strategy and objectives.

Description: The role requires managing, deploying, and maintaining security tools and platforms, with a focus on SASE solutions, to protect enterprise data and information systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct security engineering necessary to maintain the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of enterprise data and information systems.
• Take ownership of the technical enablement of the SASE solution for effective implementations, building policy for end-users and troubleshooting issues, while fostering a partnering community atmosphere.
• Effectively present the SASE solution via live presentations to end users and application support teams.
• Provide excellent customer service for internal and external customers in support of security initiatives, incident response, and support.
• Maintain security tools and technologies throughout an enterprise environment.
• Participate in the day‑to‑day security operations monitoring and response from the Cyber Security Operations Center.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in networking and network security technologies such as firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, SDN technologies and Security/Trust Zones.
• 5+ years of operational experience with security technologies.
• 5+ years of implementing or utilizing technology life cycles and best practices.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with a cloud‑based SASE technology such as ZScaler or iBoss.
• Strong knowledge of core networking protocols including BGP, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.
• Advanced understanding and familiarity with desktop and server virtualization platforms, including container solutions.
• Strong background in operating system administration (Linux and Windows).
• Working knowledge with API and basic programming methodologies; preference for Power Shell, Python, BASH, etc.
• Advanced network troubleshooting skills utilizing packet capture/analysis packages such as Wireshark, TCPdump, etc.
• Knowledge of security threats, solutions, and security tools & technologies (SIEMs, Network, Incident Response, SOC workflows).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE, NIST, CIS, PCI DSS, etc.
• Working engineering knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Understanding of Dev Ops (automation and orchestration) tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Experience collaborating and working within Agile Scrum teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact, communicate, and build relationships with technical staff.
• Effective working independently and in a team setting.

Exempt Status:
Yes (not eligible for overtime pay).

Workplace Type:
Office. Certain positions may offer flexible work arrangements, combining in‑office and work from home. Remote roles may also have the opportunity to come together in offices for moments that matter. Specific arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.
