Position Summary:
We are seeking an Application Architect with strong microservices architecture experience and deep expertise in AWS cloud services. This role will focus on designing, building, and guiding scalable cloud-native solutions, enabling modern data processing workflows, and supporting best practices across CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
Key Responsibilities:- Architect and design microservices-based applications on AWS
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure application architecture
- Lead cloud solution design using AWS services and modern development patterns
- Support implementation of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Drive Infrastructure as Code adoption using Cloud Formation and/or Terraform
- Collaborate with engineering and stakeholder teams with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- 7+7+ years of software development experience, including microservices architecture
- At least 3+3+ years of AWS cloud architecture experience
- Strong proficiency in AWS services including: S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Aurora DB, Redis, Redshift
- Strong JavaScript experience
- Experience with Databricks for big data processing and analytics
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Knowledge of Apache Spark, Splunk, and modern data frameworks
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Conducktor
- AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, etc.) or equivalent hands-on experience
