We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their team in Austin, TX, with a hybrid schedule requiring on-site presence two days per week. This position will play a critical role in the design, deployment, and support of a global enterprise network infrastructure, with a strong focus on Cisco technologies.
The ideal candidate will be highly experienced, hands-on, and capable of delivering scalable and secure network solutions to support their growing business.

Responsibilities- Network Design & Architecture:
Design and optimize enterprise-level LAN, WAN, and data center networks, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability. - Deployment & Implementation:
Lead or support the deployment of Cisco-based network solutions, including routers, switches, wireless systems, and firewalls. - Network Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues and lead root cause analysis and resolution. - Security Integration:
Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain network security policies and systems, including firewall configurations. - Documentation & Standards:
Maintain detailed network diagrams, documentation, and SOPs. Ensure compliance with company IT standards and industry best practices. - Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify opportunities to improve network performance, reliability, and manageability.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering roles.
- Strong expertise in Cisco technologies, including but not limited to:
- Cisco Nexus, Catalyst series
- Cisco ASA, Firepower
- Cisco Wireless (WLC, APs)
- Experience with network design, deployment, and troubleshooting in a complex, multi-site environment.
- Proficiency with network protocols and technologies: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, etc.
- Solid understanding of network security best practices.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (Solar Winds, Cisco Prime, etc.).
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security platforms.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or PCNSE.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Scripting or automation knowledge (Python, Ansible, etc.) is beneficial but not required.
- Hybrid schedule: 2 days per week onsite at the Austin office, with flexibility for remote work on other days.
- Collaborative, high-performance IT team.
- Occasional on-call or after-hours work may be required for network maintenance or incident response.
- $40.00 - $50.00 Per Hour
