Job Description

The Senior Solution Architect applies advanced analysis in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations to design reliable solutions and deliver high-quality results. The role requires deep knowledge across multiple D365 F&O areas, including supply chain, procurement, manufacturing operations, and finance.

The Senior Solution Architect oversees the design and implementation of various business solution components and supports specialists in other disciplines. Responsibilities include identifying and solving complex customer problems, envisioning critical processes, and helping customers achieve their objectives. The role involves delivering strategic presentations and maintaining excellent communication skills. It also requires fostering executive-level relationships and serving as the first point of escalation for solution issues.

The Senior Solution Architect participates in strategic business development activities, supports existing projects, and manages presales discoveries. The role analyzes an organization’s business processes and how Hitachi Solutions and Microsoft Dynamics can address customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and implementation of business solution components; support specialists in other technical and business disciplines.

• Identify and creatively solve complex customer problems; envision and enable critical processes.

• Deliver strategic presentations to audiences of various sizes; maintain excellent communication with stakeholders.

• Foster executive-level relationships and act as a trusted advisor with first point of escalation for solution issues.

• Participate in identification, pursuit, and closure of strategic business development activities; support existing projects.

• Manage presales discoveries and analyze organizational processes to show how Hitachi Solutions and Dynamics 365 address requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ large-scale ERP implementations of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

• Minimum 10 years of ERP experience with 5+ years in Dynamics 365 F&O

• Presales experience preferred; knowledge of sales processes

• Guidance to implementation teams on ALM, environment strategy, integration strategy, data migration strategy, security strategy

• Knowledge of Azure Cloud Platform, Power BI, Power Apps, Flow, Azure Data Lake, Dev Ops, RSAT

• Experience with Common Data Services (Dual Write) integration with Dynamics 365 for Sales and Field Services

• Collaborate with project managers and teams; coaching and mentoring; familiarity with project methodologies and LCS

• Intellectual curiosity around emerging enterprise technologies; experience with ISVs and IPs

Education requirements include a BA/BS and/or post-secondary degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations and strong product knowledge are preferred. Excellent presentation, communication, leadership, and client-development skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver full project life cycles.

Base Salary Pay Range: USD $142,500 - USD $198,750

* The current base salary range is a guideline and not a guaranteed offer. Other factors in compensation include responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, market data, and internal equity.
