Position: Project Manager (Remote)

Responsibilities
  • Plan and drive project implementation for client deployments of the Rain Focus platform.
  • Align with clients on key milestones, scope, and deliverables.
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, including tasks, resources, and timelines.
  • Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and priorities, escalating issues as needed.
  • Coordinate multiple work streams to remove obstacles and keep projects on track.
  • Participate in pre‑sales planning with client account teams to support new opportunities.
  • Engage relevant internal and client resources to ensure project success.
  • Document project activities and status; communicate formal weekly updates to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops with clients, solution consultants, and architects to define configuration requirements.
  • Solicit client and team feedback to prioritize actions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate post‑event reviews between client and Rain Focus account team.
  • Surface decision points and escalations to remove obstacles and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Provide change‑management support for first‑year event clients, ensuring training and adoption of new processes.
  • Identify impacts to client teams and address resource constraints where required.
  • Manage project expectations, scope, and priorities; capture all project artifacts.
  • Monitor and manage project financial performance against targets.
  • Manage and present change orders to customers, identifying tasks and deliverables outside the original scope.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of project management experience in software implementation, schedule, cost, and risk management.
  • Proficiency with project management tools for coordinating complex projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and follow‑up skills.
  • Working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with Smartsheet.
  • Highly self‑motivated, autonomous self‑starter with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Strong technology acumen and a passion for researching new solutions to enhance event experience and operations.
  • Experience in a consulting environment or client‑facing role.
  • Experience designing large‑scale complex solutions without losing sight of the details.
  • High detail orientation with proven ability to document systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Event industry experience.
  • PMP certification.
  • Solution‑oriented, positive, patient, and persistent in the face of technical and organizational challenges.
  • Ability to take initiative and drive client discussions.
  • Ability to organize ambiguous ideas into concrete deliverables.
  • Strong prioritization of competing deadlines.
  • Determined and organized leader; team‑player; self‑motivated.
Location / Travel

This remote position can be located anywhere in the United States. Total travel may be up to 20% of the time, including onsite client events, post‑conference meetings, and occasional weekend engagements.
