Presales Architect – Remote/Teleworker

The Presales Architect role has been designated as "Remote/Teleworker", meaning you will primarily work from home.

As part of HPE’s Cloud Ops HPE Software team and the Ops Ramp presales team, you will help drive the technical sales process for a large‑scale, enterprise‑ready platform that powers a hybrid edge‑to‑cloud world. You will enable customers and MSPs to manage modern digital infrastructure, deliver quickly, and maintain security and sustainability.

• Collaborate with local sales and pre‑sales technical teams to deliver in‑depth technical presentations, manage complex Proofs of Concept, and kickoff initial software implementations.
• Act as the lynchpin between the field (customers) and development, communicating feedback to product and development teams to shape the product roadmap.
• Drive the technical sales process while providing trusted advisory to large, complex technical environments.
• Deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations, leveraging strong written and oral communication skills.
• Think creatively to solve customer challenges and understand complex environments to provide PoC and initial implementation solutions.

• 10 years of Solution Architecture experience.
• Deep understanding of the IT Operations market, competitive landscape, and cloud‑native market.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, and other container platforms.
• Programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, PHP, JSON, NodeJS, JavaScript, or similar.
• Ability to design implementation architectures and build integrations using a REST API.
• IT Operations Management (ITOM) experience is preferred.
