Position: Senior Systems Analyst / Business Analyst

Location: Salem, OR (Mostly Part-time, with occasional visits to the client in Salem, OR)

Duration: 12+ Months (Part-time, 20 hrs/week)

Job Description:

Our direct client is seeking an experienced, dedicated candidate for a part-time, mostly remote role. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and expertise outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document client systems, processes, and databases, including documenting AS-IS and TO-BE business processes and technology.
• Collaborate with Transportation Application Development Units (TAD) customers to gather needs and requirements, and recommend design solutions to TAD and TDU leadership.
• Support and document unit, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Provide business opportunity evaluation assessments for TAD.

This role primarily focuses on integrating the AASHTOWare Project Suite projects.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with customers and document their needs clearly.
• Understanding of the Information System Development Lifecycle, including requirements management, data management, functional specifications, testing procedures, and end-user training.
• Experience with requirements analysis, including source code analysis if needed.
• Experience with enterprise software solutions.
• Basic knowledge of project management processes.
