PositionThe Web Project Manager leads website projects from kickoff through launch — ensuring every deliverable meets North Wing’s high standards for quality, performance, and client satisfaction. This role bridges clients, designers, developers, and content teams, balancing project management excellence with hands-on quality control. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, an organized planner, and a meticulous reviewer who understands both the strategic and technical sides of website delivery.
Key Responsibilities Project Management- Lead website projects from initial discovery through launch and post-launch optimization.
- Create detailed project scopes, timelines, budgets, and deliverables using North Wing’s established web process.
- Coordinate and prioritize work across design, development, SEO, and content teams.
- Track progress and maintain visibility using project management tools (e.g., ).
- Report project status, risks, and adjustments to clients and leadership proactively.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned web clients.
- Translate client goals and feedback into actionable project steps.
- Deliver regular updates, milestones, and launch communications clearly and confidently.
- Maintain strong relationships built on transparency, trust, and results.
- Conduct internal QA reviews before client delivery to ensure websites meet North Wing’s standards for accuracy, design alignment, and functionality.
- Test for broken links or other functionality, responsive design issues, accessibility, browser compatibility, and mobile optimization.
- Verify form functionality, tracking scripts, redirects, and page load performance.
- Review content and SEO elements as needed (titles, metadata, alt tags, heading structure) for consistency and optimization.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain QA checklists and help refine internal QA processes for continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and increase team efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine project templates, QA standards, and reporting systems.
- Contribute to EOS scorecard metrics related to on-time delivery, client satisfaction, and profitability.
- 3+ years of experience managing website projects (agency experience strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of Word Press, hosting environments, and front-end fundamentals.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented approach with hands-on experience performing QA testing.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing migrations or redesigns with SEO retention.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and CRM or marketing automation integrations.
- Experience using QA or testing tools (e.g., Browser Stack).
