Overview

Pharm Intell is currently recruiting for a full-time Digital Asset Librarian (DAM) Librarian role. This position will support a Pharm Intell client in the pharmaceutical sector. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Digital Asset Librarian to manage, organize, and maintain a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. The ideal candidate will ensure assets are discoverable, current, rights-compliant, and properly governed through review and publishing workflows.

This role is central to keeping the Client’s medical communications teams productive and compliant when using content assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply consistent metadata and taxonomy standards to tag and classify assets so they are easily findable and reusable across teams.
  • Maintain version control for assets: track updates, preserve history, and ensure users can access the correct/current version.
  • Manage and document usage rights, license terms, and retention/expiration dates for all assets; enforce licensing rules and flag potential rights issues.
  • Oversee and monitor review and approval workflows for asset components (e.g., images, videos, creative files), ensuring timely approvals and clear audit trails.
  • Track and monitor where DAM assets are deployed (e.g., web pages, emails, presentations) and maintain linkage records so reuse and downstream edits remain traceable.
  • Keep the DAM clean by identifying and removing duplicate or obsolete files, enforcing naming conventions, and maintaining folder/taxonomy hygiene.
  • Create and maintain DAM documentation, guidelines, and user best practices; provide training and support to internal users.
  • Coordinate with end users and IT teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and implement DAM enhancements.
  • Produce regular reports on DAM usage, asset health (duplication, missing metadata), workflow status, and rights exposures.
Position Location and Schedule

This position is remote (work from home). Our Client requires support during US East Coast business hours (8 am to 6 pm US Eastern Time).

Preference given to applicants in states where Pharm Intell is currently doing business: NJ, NY, PA, MA, NC, OH, IL, MN, FL, CA
