Position Summary:
The Cloud Ops Engineer is responsible for automating and supporting undifferentiated functionality associated with all AWS accounts using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK). This role ensures the efficient operation and management of cloud infrastructure, focusing on automation, monitoring, and maintenance to support business objectives. Performs additional duties and projects as assigned. Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
- Automate cloud infrastructure tasks using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
- Monitor and maintain the health of cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments using Git Hub Actions
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure cloud solutions meet business requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues
- 3+ years of experience in cloud operations and automation
- Experience in cloud operations, automation, and AWS services
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
- Experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Type Script
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools, specifically Git Hub Actions
- Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
