Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting z/OS and associated program products that are critical to our application development infrastructure and mission-critical applications. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in installing and maintaining ISV products as well as in‑depth expertise with z/OS operating systems.
Key Responsibilities- Support Operations, application development teams, and production support teams (Db2, CICS, etc.)
- Ensure non‑disruptive installations of system and program products
- Adherent to organizational change management policies
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new products
- Plan and execute z/OS installation, configuration, and upgrades
- Install and maintain SAS and BMC IOA Control products (Control‑M/D, Strobe, etc.)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a z/OS mainframe systems programmer
- Extensive experience with z/OS operating systems
- Proven track record in installing and maintaining ISV products
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
