Job Overview
Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a dynamic and fast-growing full-service law firm of more than 400 attorneys and professionals, is seeking an experienced Financial Systems Analyst to join its Charlotte, NC office. The Financial Systems Analyst will support the firm’s financial applications and integrations, focusing on Aderant Expert and Int App Open. The role will ensure reliable system operations, seamless integrations, and efficient data processing across financial platforms while collaborating closely with Finance, IT, and Business Intake teams to support day‑to‑day operations, system enhancements, and long‑term process improvements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- System Administration & Support:
- Support, maintain, and enhance the firm’s core financial systems, with a primary focus on Aderant Expert and Int App Open.
- Provide ongoing support to end users, including issue resolution, troubleshooting, and training.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes, workflows, and system configurations.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Perform ETL (extract, transform, load) activities, including data migration, data loads, and validation across financial platforms.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data through reconciliation and validation processes.
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, and views to support reporting, automation, and troubleshooting.
- Support month‑end and year‑end processing and financial reporting activities.
- Process Improvement & Integration:
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Business Intake teams to implement system enhancements and resolve cross‑platform issues.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements or automation opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
- Support integrations between enterprise systems to streamline operations and ensure data consistency.
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Accounting Information Systems required.
- 3+ years of experience with financial, practice management or enterprise systems, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Familiarity with legal industry systems and workflows preferred.
- Experience with data migration, data loads, and system integrations; experience with Int App Open (Business Intake or Conflicts module preferred); form and workflow design and applications.
- The work is primarily sedentary.
- It requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
- The work requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- The work at times requires bending, squatting, and reaching, with the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull light weights.
This position is remote work eligible in the following states: NC, SC, FL, VA, TN, OR, OH, TX, GA, MA, and CO – conditional upon demonstrated expertise and supervisor discretion.
