AES is scaling a dedicated innovation and startup‑focused innovation practice building Generative AI‑enabled cloud solutions for internal and incubated products at AES, all actively exploring how GenAI can accelerate product development, validate ideas, and create competitive advantage.

We are seeking a Senior AWS GenAI & Cloud Solutions Architect who can design, prototype, and operationalize modern GenAI architectures using AWS Bedrock. You will operate in highly ambiguous environments, translating early product concepts into secure, scalable, and testable AI solutions.

• Architect, build, and deliver Generative AI solutions using AWS Bedrock
• Design and implement GenAI POCs, pilots, and MVPs for startup internal product teams
• Work with foundation models such as Claude, Titan, Llama, and others via Bedrock
• Design and implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
• Build scalable GenAI platforms incorporating:
• Vector databases
• Embeddings pipelines
• Secure data ingestion and processing layers
• Integrate GenAI solutions into cloud‑native, containerized architectures
• Deploy and manage workloads using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), ECS, and Fargate
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data teams
• Evaluate emerging AWS AI and cloud services and recommend best‑fit solutions
• Translate loosely defined product ideas into working, production‑ready GenAI systems

• Strong, hands‑on experience with AWS Bedrock
• Deep understanding of Generative AI architectures and design patterns
• Practical experience with:
• Prompt engineering
• Model orchestration
• GenAI security, guardrails, and governance
• Expertise in AWS cloud‑native services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Dynamo
  
  DB, etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Cloud Formation
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient cloud architectures

• 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture or advanced cloud engineering
• Proven track record delivering GenAI POCs or production AI solutions
• Strong AWS foundation with Solutions Architect–level expertise
• Experience working in startup, innovation, or fast‑paced consulting environments
• Ability to clearly communicate complex AI concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
• AWS certifications strongly preferred
