You AreAs the Client Partner/GTM Leader at UST, you will serve as a seasoned expert in new logo acquisition within the North American Utilities sector. In this strategic role, you will act as a trusted advisor to Utilities Client Partners, delivering actionable insights into UST's product and solution portfolio to help utility clients achieve transformative success. You will shape GTM strategies, strengthen executive relationships, and drive growth through thought leadership and deep domain expertise.
TheOpportunity
- New Logo Acquisition:
Drive growth by targeting the North American utilities vertical and building deep, trusted relationships with key decision-makers (VP, Director, Manager level) across the utility sector. - Solution Design:
Lead discovery workshops to uncover operational pain points and craft multi-product solutions tailored to utility clients (e.g., grid modernization, smart metering, asset management, regulatory compliance, sustainability initiatives). - Partner Ecosystem:
Leverage active relationships with leading partners in the utility space (e.g., Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB, Microsoft, AWS, SAP). - Strategic Advisory:
Guide Client Partners on how to harness UST's digital transformation solutions to address industry-specific challenges such as personalization, inventory optimization, and digital commerce. - Go-to-Market Leadership:
Develop and refine strategies aligned with industry trends and client priorities, ensuring competitive differentiation and measurable value. - Thought Leadership:
Deliver insights on UST's product portfolio and co-create innovative offerings for utilities clients. - Executive Engagement:
Build and expand relationships at the executive level, positioning UST as a trusted partner and thought leader. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Sales, Delivery, and Operations teams to enable Client Partners in driving growth and profitability.
- At least 15 years in client relationship management and strategic account development with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of the utilities sector, including trends in digital transformation and operational excellence.
- Familiarity with modern utility technologies (smart grid, IoT, cloud, AI/ML, cybersecurity) and their application to solve business challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to provide advisory services and influence client strategies through domain expertise.
- Thought leadership and entrepreneurial mindset, with a track record of innovation and strategic thinking.
- Track record of building and maintaining long‑term relationships at the CXO and CXO‑1 level, with a consultative, industry‑informed approach.
- MBA or Master’s degree
- Experience impacting or advising product strategy and/or product go‑to‑market
