Work Shift: Monday through Friday (8:00AM – 5:00PM PST)
* Must be able to work on W-2 basis

Digital Service Tools group is responsible for several business-critical applications – Quick Serve Online (Provides parts, service and Warranty information to all company Customers), Integrated Aftermarket Catalog (Provides parts information for all Engines), WWSPS (Dealer Certification System), Company Service Training (CST) and several other applications/integrations to support the Business and Customers. The user base for our applications spans from company channel users, Fleet, SIR, CIHR, to end Customers.
These applications require ongoing support and new feature development. Additional resources are required to ensure timely delivery of the new features, technical support and enhancements. At least 6-8 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree preferably.
Due to the limited amount of time available for coming up to speed for this work, we need a resource who has experience in full-stack software development, cloud-based systems, document databases.
Responsibilities- Design and develop new web-based applications / support existing applications for the Service Tools Suite of Applications primarily WWSPS, CST using the following technologies.
- Application Support including specific support required for CVCOL Online course management and Data Groomr project.
- Responsible for customer support for course management.
- Upload and management of New Courses.
- Responsible for escalated troubleshooting and ticket processing/closing tickets per agreed SLA.
- Help address bulk Training s relating to Data Groomr.
- Responsible for creating admin screens (or similar) to help scale the support delivery process.
- Stay abreast of web development and underlying technological trends to maintain a competitive edge and assist in developing technology upgrade plans, for example: upgrade plans for PCI compliance for the existing applications.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technology and software trends as well as infrastructure tool sets of at least one technology or functional domain. Assist in performing evaluation and developing recommendations for new selection and purchase decisions.
- Develop applications interacting with other systems like Warranty, C360, Dealer Onboarding, IAM, etc.
- Perform functional, performance testing and troubleshooting of web applications.
- Document system requirements and define the proposed system solution using technical components at a developing level.
- Apply abstract knowledge along with proven methods to create an extensible, maintainable, and practical solution to meet business needs.
- Lead activities related to research, requirements gathering, modeling, visualization and communication of IT solution for a specific project or technology space.
- Complete phases of current and long-term strategic goal assessment to help develop operational system requirements. Model existing-state and desired-state system functionality.
- Document technical system solution requirements; develop standards and design patterns for reuse; provide subject matter expertise for integration efforts.
- Participate as a change agent to implement new strategic directions and technology decisions; analyze data to identify bottlenecks; aid in integration and roadmaps.
- Provide recommendations to senior architects and managers to identify improvement opportunities and challenges; foster collaboration across IT disciplines.
- Release functionalities to users.
- Application Support including specific support required for CVCOL Online course management and Data Groomer Project.
- High level of collaboration with solution team members; knowledge gathering and research of latest technologies related to end-to-end infrastructure.
- 6-8 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree preferred; significant equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in full-stack software development, cloud-based systems, and document databases.
- Hands-on experience with the technologies listed in the functional requirements and the ability to work with PCI compliance considerations.
- Ability to monitor and respond to real-time issues within LMS systems; proactive and decisive under time-sensitive conditions.
