Qualification

A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in graduation for General, EWS, and OBC categories (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). Passing only a diploma course will not be considered eligible. Candidates are also expected to have proficiency in computers.

IDBI Exam Pattern

• The selection process
  i) The selection process shall comprise of Online Test (OT), Document Verification (DV), Personal Interview (PI) and Pre Recruitment Medical Test (PRMT).

The selection process for IDBI Junior Assistant Manager Grade “O” comprises the following stages:

• Online Test (OT): A computer-based test assessing candidates’ aptitude and knowledge in various sections.
• Document Verification (DV): Verification of the original documents submitted by the candidates.
• Personal Interview (PI): An interview to assess the candidate’s communication skills, personality, and general suitability for the role.
• Pre‑Recruitment Medical Test (PRMT): A medical examination to ensure the candidate is physically fit for the job.

Exam Pattern:

The online test will be objective type and will consist of 200 questions for a total of 200 marks. The total time duration for the exam is 120 minutes (2 hours). There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

The syllabus for the online test broadly covers the following topics:

• Logical Reasoning, Data Analysis & Interpretation: Puzzles, Seating Arrangement, Inequality, Syllogism, Blood Relation, Direction and Distance, Alphanumeric Series, Order and Ranking, Data Sufficiency, Data Analysis & Interpretation (Tables, Pie Charts, Bar Graphs, etc.).
• English Language: Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Spotting Errors, Sentence Improvement, Sentence Correction, Para Jumbles, Fill in the Blanks, Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms, etc.), Grammar.
• Quantitative Aptitude: Simplification and Approximation, Number Series, Inequality, Arithmetic Topics (Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Simple and Compound Interest, Time and Work, Speed, Time and Distance, etc.), Data Interpretation (Tables, Pie Charts, Bar Graphs, Caselets), Data Sufficiency.
• General/Economy/Banking Awareness/Computer/IT: Current Affairs (National and International), Banking and Financial Awareness, Economy News, Government Schemes, Important Days, Awards and Honours, Books and Authors, Static GK, Fundamentals of Computer, Networking, Software & Hardware, Internet Basics, MS Office.
