Overview

Description: Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Cloud Infrastructure Services hosted in multiple cloud environments. Provides Tier I/II and Tier 3 (Escalation to Architecture Team) resolution of customer capacity requests. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers. Provide connectivity and utilization support to Cloud Infrastructure Services managed cloud environment customers. Provide customer support through chat, email and capacity request ticketing.
Responsibilities and Qualifications (Required):
- Experience with Terraform, AWS, Linux, and experience with Serv Pro team
- Strong knowledge of cloud solutions including AWS, Open Stack and Microsoft Azure products
- Demonstrated experience using tools like Open Stack, Eucalyptus, Open Shift, and Kubernetes
- Must possess one active mid-level or advanced cloud certification (e.g. AWS, Azure, Open Stack)
- Must have 9 years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (an additional four years of relevant experience can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree)
- Development experience with Linux and Windows workloads using cloud technologies with automation (Amazon Cloud Formation, Ops Works, Ansible, Chef, Docker)
- Demonstrated experience writing software scripts using Perl, Python, or Ruby
- Provide Tier I/II support and follow established guidelines for delivery of cloud-based resources
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of customer resources
- Assist users in accessing and utilizing cloud-based compute resources
- Serve as the technical point of contact between the customer and the Architecture and Capacity Engineering teams
- Maintain currency of relevant documents and update the Wiki and SharePoint knowledge bases
- Monitor and respond to chat rooms
- Develop with a Dev Ops approach for both Linux and Windows workloads using proven cloud technologies with automation
- Ability to deploy new cloud production, staging, and test environments
- Responsible for all aspects of integration and deployment, including infrastructure and application deployment, load testing, and disaster recovery
- Plan for a seamless transition with little to no downtime and identify the most agile, scalable infrastructure and best cloud services for customer projects
- Automate and deploy cloud infrastructures and document the cloud infrastructure for handoff to the application team
- Experience writing software scripts using Perl, Python, or Ruby
- Experience planning and implementing IaaS and PaaS using Open Stack, Eucalyptus, Open Shift, and Kubernetes
- The architect will be responsible for deployment of new solutions into existing cloud resources or off-premise infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of a wide range of cloud services and solutions like AWS, Open Stack and Microsoft Azure products
Compensation:
We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for our positions vary depending on accepted contractual position skill level. These salaries fall within the range of $78,000 to $275,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
